Salesforce continuously evolves the Certification Exam structure to reflect changes in the product and the skills required to be a value-adding user of the platform. Effective June 23, 2021, the following key changes will be made to the Salesforce Admin Certification Exam:
- Realignment of the sub-topics
- Changes to the weighting of topics
- Additional sub-topics
The existing 12 topics will be consolidated into 7 new topics as per the table below. The weighting for the new topics is also being revised to increase the emphasis on the new administrative tools for the lightning experience.
If you have booked your exam for after June 23, 2021, focus more on Object Manager & Lightning App Builder and Workflow/Process Automations topics. The weighting for these topics is being increased per the new structure.
Additional sub-topics to focus on as per the new structure are:
- Salesforce Flows
- Scenarios for choosing the right automation tools
- Custom Report Types
- Additional Lightning UI features – Lightning App Builder, App Menu, Global and Custom Actions
- Standard object relationships
- Forecasts
- Einstein Lead and Opportunity scoring
- Homepage assistant.
